At a young age Jeffrey has attracted the attention of curators and collectors alike. He has shown in galleries throughout the US and Europe, and most recently the Indianapolis Museum of Art purchased a series of twenty small paintings of the artists work. Born and raised in Indiana, Jeffrey took a brief foray into the study of architecture at Tulane. After leaving the school and spending some time tumbling through Europe he settled into a program of study at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. With the mentorship of artist and teacher Jennifer Schmidt Jeffrey began working in a myriad of fields from printmaking and painting through to video. Taking work out of the gallery setting Jeffrey has been involved with numerous street art projects as well as writing three books of what he refers to as ” small little poetic ditties.” In the Spring of 2005 Jeffrey set off for California after a few years in New York. Spending a little under a year, Jeffrey has returned to New York after what he described as, “venturing into a very dark world- think very Hollywood people in Rolls Royce’s and the like. Hollywood Hills and sleazy….. Like falling into a hole wearing a nice Gucci outfit and trying to claw your way out holding a glass of champagne.” Jeffrey now lives and works in New York, NY.
